In my latest article on The Periscope Post I write strongly in favour of Wikileaks and an open accessible society
Wikileaks has done a lot of good work and irrespective of whether releasing US diplomatic cables is a mistake, organizations like Wikileaks gives power to the people and governments and corporate houses should only try to counter them legally and not by freezing their accounts or putting presure by other means
The problem if any lies with the ways and means of information access and although I have some restrictions on whether private and secret information should be exposed, even within an open society, wikileaks has done nothing wrong and the website is working completely within the legal framework of journalism

Burma elections and Release of Suu Kyi
With the Burmese elections and release of Suu Kyi - I simply had to write something on the electoral process in Burma, on the future role of UN in democratic transitions and the road ahead for Burma's Democracy icon
