The Egypt Revolution as I noted elsewhere is a part of a greater Arab revolution. The Arab world is changing - there is a definite Arab revolution in the Middle East and Northern Africa as all authoritarian regimes are facing direct and strong opposition from the people. The Arab people are reacting to the difference between the world out there and the rigid conditions in their own home country. Open and easy access to information, increasing connectivity and awareness on human rights and democracy issues are clearly making the Arab world hungry for change.
I will soon write an article on this and will post an update here.
